Moco is the artist´s name but who is Moco?

When asked, Moira Cochrane explained that the name Moco represented a new life for her: a life where she could express herself, her creativity, and her personality in art: In many respects releasing her being - through the medium of art.
Whilst art has always been in her soul, it was put on the back burner while her life took on the role of wife, mother, then single parent and grandmother. Now Moira looks at all the ups and downs of her life and believes that it all truly forms part of life’s rich tapestry.

Moira says “Moco is my artist’s name and, while it is only four letters long, it represents a lifetime’s experience which I now share with others through my art. True art comes from the soul, which is life’s canvas”. |

As Moco I have exhibited regularly in Edinburgh, thanks to Selma Rahman of Esar Consultants (
www.esar-consultants.co.uk), and this has resulted in my work hanging in far flung places – the USA, London, Tenerife amongst others. While I very much enjoy my time with guests at the opening of exhibitions there is a whole world out there, brought closer by the internet and I hope, as my guest, you enjoy my internet gallery.
